The Woman's Christian Temperance Union is a prominent anti-alcohol organization. Founded in 1873,[1] the WTCU was a prominent support force for Prohibition in the 1920s. The organization still exists today and is the oldest continuing non-sectarian woman's organization in the world.[2]
