Charles Carroll (of Carrollton) (September 19, 1737-November 14, 1832) was a delegate and Senator for the state of Maryland. A delegate to the Continental Congress in 1776, 1777, and 1778, he also signed the Declaration of Independence; at the time of his death in 1832, he was the last surviving signer of that document.
