Deep ocean

Deep ocean also called deep-sea, refers to the nearly unreachable depths of the worlds oceans. Only by todays advanced technology, mankind is finally able to explore uncharted areas of the sea. This vast lower-layer is approximately the depth below 1000 fathoms (1828 meters) below the thermocline area where no light is visible. Pressures below this point have prevented exploration by mankind. Through the use of submersibles and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), deep ocean research has finally begun to achieve results.
