Sweet chilli sauce

Sweet chilli sauce is a condiment originating in south-east [[|Asia|Asian]] cuisine. It is similar to a jam made from chillis (but runnier in consistency), with the other primary ingredient being sugar. It has a sweet and somewhat spicy flavour.
It is a popular accompaniment to Asian dishes served in western countries.
