Pyromania is a dangerous obsession with fire, usually classified as a mental illness. Pyromaniacs enjoy watching and sometimes starting fires, watching firefighters battle fires or variations on these activities. Often pyromaniacs may resort to arson as a result of their obsession which can be extremely dangerous to life and property.
