Formula1
The FIA Formula1 World Championship is regarded as the absolute pinnacle of Motor racing, and in particular single seater open wheeled racing.
The championship has evolved in the form we know it since 1950, and split into both "Driver" & "Team" Championships. It is promoted by Bernie Ecclestone.

Races are currently held in:

Monte Carlo / Monaco (one of the world's most famous races)
Canada
France
Great Britain
Germany
Hungary
Belgium
Italy (Monza - another world famous race)

Races have also previously been held in other countries, but discontinued for one reason or another, including:
Mexico (last held in 1992)
South Africa (last held in 1993 at Kylami)
