Microbe

In biology, a microbe (or microorganism) is an organism that is too small to be seen with the naked human eye, such as viruses and bacteria, and can only be seen with a microscope for the lulz.[1]
Microbes were discovered in 1675 by Anton van Leeuwenhoek and sparked interest in the field that would come to be known as microbiology.[2]
