Hi, Craig. Welcome - this is a collaborative resource, and we hope that you can both contribute to annd draw from it. We have a Conservative perspective, but friendly debate is the norm here - we don't censor on ideological grounds, unlike other wikis. Bugler 09:12, 28 September 2008 (EDT)

Thank you for the greeting. I have been reading through Conservapedia for some time now and am mainly interested in the homeschooling aspect of the site. I am somewhat disillusioned with the England/Wales schooling system and believe that I would serve the youth better by private, low class number, tuition. My field is General Science with a leaning towards Physics. I do not understand the American political slant of the site and will not involve myself in Left versus Right discussions but would agree that religion and discipline are good targets to aim for in schooling. --CraigW 09:30, 28 September 2008 (EDT)
By the way, the site wouldn't let me create the User Name: "Craig W" (with a space) although I notice some already here with spaces in their names! --CraigW 10:33, 28 September 2008 (EDT)
I don't know about the name spaces, I'm afraid. However, I can say that Andrew Schlafly, the founder of Conservapedia, is a very experienced homeschool tutor (besides his considerable experience in other fields), and I'm sure you will be able to learn a lot from him. It's great that someone with a scientific bent is participating - though the gain of homeschooling and CP is the state system's loss. If only they would listen to what people want. Craig, in response to your question, you needed to submit your name as Craig_W, which the wiki would translate into a space (this also works with links, so a link to "United_States" will give you the same page as "United States"). -Foxtrot 14:15, 28 September 2008 (EDT)

I don't think I'll have much time to add to the site, with work and family commitments my time is scarce. I'll keep an eye on it though and see if theres anything that I can add insight to. The name/space thing's rather academic now.
What is the opinion of the site on the internet? Its uncontrolled nature worries me, allowing anyone from terrorists to paedophiles to have access to our children. CraigW 16:32, 28 September 2008 (EDT)
