Mental Ossification Curve

A Mental Ossification Curve describes the hardening in a person's views with age.
For most people, the greatest hardening occurs somewhere in the teenage years.
Personal events, like having children, can shift the curve dramatically. For example, some opponents of the death penalty change their views after they have children and want a powerful deterrent and meaningful retribution against criminals who harm children.
