I should very much like to have signed up to this. I know that my knowledge of American history is very deficient (although less so since I have found Conservapedia). However, as I am currently on a PhD programme researching a topic of modern British history, I feel that I have enough on my plate! I wish you well with this, Andy and all your students, and hope that you all find it challenging and enjoyable. Although not participating actively, I'll be reading with interest. - Thank you, Bugler, and your insights from your side of the "pond" will be most appreciated as this course progresses! I also greatly enjoy your edits to other entries.--Aschlafly 17:33, 23 August 2008 (EDT)
