Since the Reagan administration and the early days of the administration of President George H. W. Bush, the United States government has had a strict immigration policy against issuing entry visas to people with HIV or AIDS.[1][2] The concerns were that these people would be bringing a fatal disease into the country, endangering the health of American citizens and dragging on the healthcare system with a costly and longlasting disease. The ban lasted more than 20 years, however recently the government has caved into pressure from liberals and the gay agenda and visas will now be issued to people with the disease.[3]
