Judah

Judah, son of the patriarch, Jacob, and the eponymous founder of one of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, from whom the the nation Judaea was named after the partition of Israel following King Solomon's demise (1 Kings 11:31; 12:17-21). The English name Jew is derived hence.
