GNU Privacy Guard

The GNU Privacy Guard, also known as GnuPG, is an open source (GPL) piece of cryptographic software, compliant with the RFC 4880 encryption standard, and intended as a replacement for the proprietary Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) software.
