Chinese Calendar is a calendar based on the movements of the moon.

In Chinese Calendar, the years are named after the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac: rat, cattle, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, pig. 2008 is the a Year of the Rat.
