Wesley Clark was the commander of NATO forces during the 1999 Kosovo War and a candidate for the leadership of the Democratic Party in 2004.
He recently criticized Senator John McCain's military service, saying "I don't think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to become president."[1] The Obama campaign disavowed the comments,[2] but as McCain pointed out, "these types of things"[Citation Needed] have been said in the past, implying that it could be part of a coordinated effort by liberals to attack him.
