Tribute to Dean
Dean, I realise that messing with someone else's talk page is not done, and so I apologise, but thought that on this occasion it was more important to say this.
Conservapedia is an important project, and it needs you. You have been a very active contributor, and an inspirational and fair minded sysop: we cannot afford to lose people of your calibre. I appreciate that your faith and attachment to the Mormon creed have led you to this, but I appeal to you to reconsider: stand up for your faith on this ground, as you have done so far and been a fine ambassador for your church; and return to help continue building up Conservapedia into a great force for good. You have done so much already: please consider how much more there is to be done. Thanks for reading! Bugler 06:09, 22 June 2008 (EDT)

Dean, you have my support as well as that of Learn Together. I have laid down some ground rules at talk:Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which I invite you to glance at. Please have confidence in me! I have an unbroken track record of success in every dispute I've mediated at wiki encyclopedias when I've been a sysop.
After you cool off, I do hope you will consider making another try. We can do this together. --Ed Poor Talk 08:01, 22 June 2008 (EDT)
Clarification
Mr. DeanS, I am in no way attempting to humiliate you or anger you. I am simply posting on the LDS church with material that is historically accurate. Now, I've studied this stuff for a while now, but I know that you are a Mormon and it is very possible that you know far more than I do on the subject. So, if you wish to discuss the edits, or are able to show me where I am wrong with documentation, then I'll take my stuff out. But, I simply wanted to clarify that I'm not trying to attack you. - You are one step away from being blocked. And before you post anywhere but on a sysop talk page, you better apologize for:
- Attacking Dean
- Lying, while saying your attack "was not an attack"
- Using "historical" material as if it were obviously current and official.
- Making such a fuss over the burden of proof.
- You do not dictate the terms under which you participate. Do what I say, or be elsewhere. --Ed Poor Talk 19:04, 24 June 2008 (EDT)

Amen, good sir. I am a Catholic, and a Progressive one at that, and I cannot understand why others who claim to be Christians feel that it is their prerogative to declare whether my views on Jesus and his teachings are valid or not. I admire your stance. --IlTrovatore 00:04, 25 June 2008 (EDT)
