Examples of Conservative Style

The style of a conservative often includes these characteristics:

  • Portrayal of an issue as if all viewpoints on the matter could clearly be classified in one of two ways (e.g. someone is either " pro-abortion" or "anti-abortion")
  • Demonizing all negative traits as "Liberal [insert word here]"
  • Generalizing liberals as one group with the same view
  • A belief that any and all problems can be solved with conservative values
  • Labeling any scientific study contrary to a conservative point as "biased liberal hogwash."
  • Blaming larger societal problems on specific minorities (read Homosexuals, African-Americans, Mexican-Americans etc.)
