Velociraptor is the name for a small, fast-running, carnivore, bird-like dinosaur. According to Christian beliefs, it was created on the fifth creation day (approximately 6000 B.C.).[1][2] Velociraptor may have been known in the bible as Behemoth which is literally translated to "Giant Kingly Beast".[3] Velociraptor was small for a dromaeosaurid, with adults measuring up to 1.8 meters (5.9 ft) long, 0.62 meters (2 ft) high at the hip, and weighing 20 kilograms (45 lb)[4] The Bible says that two of every sort of land vertebrate (seven of the “clean” animals) were brought by God to the Ark. Therefore it is speculated that Velociraptor (land vertebrates) were represented on the Ark.[5] So it logical to assume that Velociraptor survived the flood (4300 B.C). Scenes in the movie "Jurassic Park: The Lost World" may have been inspired by people imagining Noah's difficulty in capturing these dinosaurs, even as a trained professional. The velociraptor is now extinct.
