Artificial intelligence is a computer-based imitation of the human thought process.
Spiritual Implications
Many religious leaders have likened the progress in artificial intelligence as a contrived effort by secular liberal organizations to subvert the divinity of God, essentially attempting to cut God out of the loop and take his place as the creator of all life.
