The Child Medication Safety Act was United States federal legislation sponsored by Representative John Kline (R-Minn.), which passed in the House of Representatives by a vote of 407 to 12. Had it become law, it would have prohibited public schools from denying entry to any child based on a refusal by his parents to medicate him with psychotropic drugs such as Ritalin.
