I think the part about the Christian Scientist should be removed. The reason being, the page that that referenced makes claims like:


I've found prayer to be the quickest way to stop disease.

If this were true, everyone could just pray and disease would go away. This clearly doesn't happen.

--It should. People just dont pray correctly - they always wish for selfish things. God is not a genie, granting wishes on request.

Germ theory is the naturalistic explantion for disease, but the examples to be found within the bible - God-sent and God-relieved plagues, the casting out of demons - show that there can be a supernatural cause for illness too.

Germs had no power to make me sick; it was my belief in them and fear of them that were behind the cold symptoms I was experiencing

So he got sick just by thinking about being sick?
