Grand theft
This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Ed Poor (talk | contribs) at 12:36, April 4, 2008. It may differ significantly from current revision.
Grand theft is defined as stealing something of higher monetary value than petty theft.
The exception is grand theft - auto, or stealing a car. In the American wild west era, stealing a horse was a capital crime - likewise, unrelated to the monetary value of the horse.
