Scottish Gaelic, or Gaelic, is a Celtic language spoken in parts of north-western Scotland including the Inner Hebrides and Western Isles or Outer Hebrides. It is similar in form to Irish or Irish Gaelic, these languages, with Manx, being known as G-Celtic or Goidelic, while Welsh, Cornish and Breton belong to the P-Celtic group of languages.
