This is a fantastic idea! I'd love to participate myself. I'll make minor improvements/adjustments on the guidelines and point system.--Aschlafly 12:49, 3 March 2008 (EST)
- Great ideas Andy. Feel free to make changes. --Crocoite 12:53, 3 March 2008 (EST)
- Crocoite, this is a splendid idea. I have never thought that Breaking News items should be part of the normal contests because of the difficulty in comparing article generation/improvement with news. However, this is a great way of involving news contributors where everybody has an equal chance. BrianCo 14:29, 3 March 2008 (EST)
- Thanks Brian. Perhaps this style of contest could be alternated with the regular contests and we can remove the Breaking news from the regular contests. --Crocoite 15:18, 3 March 2008 (EST)
