Why is this in the past tense entirely? There are still plenty of laissez-fair politicians/economists out there, e.g. every libertarian on the planet.

I think the Bible verse is completely irrelevant and does not help in making this a concise article, but I'll wait for discussion before removing it. Any thoughts? ColinR 02:33, 15 March 2007 (EDT)
