Shackleton

A great leader, truly inspiring heroism. Having spent a year down in the South Atlantic, including South Georgia and inside the Antarctic Circle, I really can appreciate the guts that he and his crew had. Wonderful stuff. Readable BBC article on the changing nature of the public perception of heroism here.
