Dwarves (Middle-earth)

Dwarves (also known as the Khazâd in their native tongue, Hadhodrim in Sindarin, and Kasári in Quenya) are a race of mortals in the Lord of the Rings universe. Dwarves were created by Aulë the Vala. Dwarves are stout and tough because they were created when Morgoth still ruled the world outside of Aman. Dwarves are famous for their mining and blacksmithing skills, including building entire cities under mountains.
