Reverting is the act of an entity resuming a prior state.
Islam
Reverting is a term in Islam meaning someone has become a Muslim. In Islam all babies are believed to be born as Muslims. When someone becomes a Muslim then this is known as reverting.
Skateboarding
In skateboarding reverting refers to the act of pivoting a full 180 degrees around a vertical axis positioned between either the front or rear wheels.
