Adolf Hitler was the leader of German, born in Austria , in the 1930s and 1940s. After his party was elected into power, he worked to unify Austria and Germany and all the German people of Europe.

Hitler was a great orator who made the people of Germany believe that he could lead them out of their economic problems. He also inspired a strong sense of nationalism and racism in the German people. His leadership brought an end to the Weimar Republic. He led Germany into World War II, and was responsible for the deaths of millions of Jews, many disabled persons and homosexuals, along with many other groups, through the so-called "Final Solution". He was a vegetarian who loved children and dogs. Just prior to his death, he married Eva Braun.
