460-377 B.C. Called 'father of medicine' medical school graduates still take the "Hippocratic Oath".

Hippocrates, the “father of medicine,” lived 460-377 B.C. With impeccable Greek logic, Hippocrates saw abortion as being in direct opposition to a doctor’s role of promoting life and health.

Hippocrates was against abortion and issued the ‘Hippocratic Oath’ that stated that one will not harm a patient for his or her own benefit.
