Gryffindor

Gryffindor is one of the four Hogwarts houses in the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, the other three being Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. It is named after Godric Gryffindor, one of the four co-founders of Hogwarts. The main character, Harry Potter, is in Gryffindor. Gryffindor house values bravery. Other Gryffindors include Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Minerva McGonaggall, James and Lily Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, Remus Lupin, Albus Dumbledore and Neville Longbottom. Gryffindors are brave and chivalrous. Gryffindors are also more scrupulous than Slytherins.
