Generally the age of consent is taken to mean the age when a person can legally consent to sexual intercourse with an older person without the older person being guilty of statutory rape. This article should be changed to reflect that. --Pnt 17:02, 20 August 2007 (EDT)

Table
Just to let everyone know - I thought the table was a bit too long, so I shortened it a bit - I would've made it even shorter - but having 4 columns alphabetically ordered vertically would just be to complicated for a new editor or an editor that hasn't mastered tables. Also, I added Puerto Rico as DC was on the list--Iduan 18:02, 21 August 2007 (EDT)
