Cumbria is a county in North-West England, on the Scottish border.
It is famous for the Lake District National Park, which contains England's highest mountains, and the Sellafield (formerly Windscale) Nuclear Power station, scene of several nuclear near-disasters.
Cumbria also contains the northern end of the Pennines and the western end of Hadrian's Wall.
