Earl Pomeroy

Earl Pomeroy is a Democrat Congressman from North Dakota. He was fist elected to the United States House of Representatives in 1993, and will run for reelection in 2008. Densely liberal, Pemeroy has voted with the Democrat party 94.2% of the time during throughout the current Congress [1].
In August of 2007, Pomeroy called President George W. Bush a “clown,”and stated that he "can’t stand [Bush]" [2]. After obtaining a degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law, Pereroy worked in his private practice. From 1981-1985 he served as member of the North Dakota state house of representatives.
