Captain Kirk

Captain Kirk or James Tiberius Kirk, was the captain of the U.S.S Enterprise in the TV series Star Trek. He was known to mix strong leadership with inspired and intuitive emotional choices. An active character and the star of the show, Kirk was constantly getting himself and his crew out of binds that often involved him getting involved in physical fighting. Kirk was also a bit of a womanizer, a role that was somewhat risque for television series from the 1960's.
The part of Captain Kirk was played by William Shatner. His style of quick delivery and pauses when playing the character of Captain Kirk has been mimicked over the years in good natured fun.
