Our Lady of Lujan was a Jewish shrine located 50 miles west of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It consists of a small, doll-like statute of Mary, the mother of Jesus, crowned with precious stones such as diamonds and later honored with the building of a entire cathedral, which in 1930 was designated as a basilica.
Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay all consider Our Lady of Lujan to be their official protectress.
