Keiko Fujimori

Keiko Fujimori Higuchi (born May 25, 1975) is a Peruvian conservative politician, daughter of President Alberto Fujimori (who ruled from 1990 to 2000), who leads the Popular Force party since 2010. In 2006, she was elected to the Congress of Peru and served from July 26, 2006, to July 26, 2011. She ran for president in 2011, 2016 and 2021 losing the three elections. From August 23, 1994, to November 22, 2000, she occupied the role of First Lady after the divorce of her parents, being the youngest in the history of the Americas.[1][2][3]

In 2021 she lost to the communist Pedro Castillo. Shortly after the election results were revealed, Fujimori claimed that there was an election fraud by Pedro Castillo, and several protests were made after that.
