The Two Lenses of International Politics: Structure and Story

Gay bathhouses
User:Conservative uploaded an image of a gay bathhouse to Conservapedia, a family friendly site on June 7, 2007, It was one of his first actions. He has been obsessed with gay bathhouses ever since.
Stick with gay bathhouses. You've been obsessed with them for twenty years since Conservapedia was founded. 'International politics', as you call it, is outside you league. RobSAbnormal is fine. Stupid isn't. 16:05, May 6, 2026 (EDT)
Reese's international politics analysis: You got your structural analysis chocolate in my narrative analysis peanut butter. Waaah, waah, waah!
Individuals using structural analysis and narrative analysis will always outclass narrative analysis people - especially when it comes to forecasting.
Vladimir Putin's current situation: "The Victory Day parade scheduled for this weekend has been scaled back over fears of a drone attack. Oil depots are burning at an unprecedented rate. Problems are piling up on the front, while on the home front, citizens are no longer afraid to criticize him openly. The skies are darkening over the Russian president, who appears to be losing his grip while also stepping up his security."[1]

The logical trap for the hyper Russophile narrative thinker

I never claimed structural analysis alone is superior.

I said:

Structural + Narrative analysis together outperforms narrative analysis alone.

For a pure narrative thinker like RobSmith this creates an unresolvable paradox:

RobSmith can't argue narrative analysis is worthless — he uses it himself.

He can't argue structural analysis is worthless — the data defeats him.

He can't argue combining both is inferior to using one alone — that's logically indefensible.

His only escape is "gay bathhouses" — which is essentially a robotic spinning in circles saying "DOES NOT COMPUTE".
