Social anxiety disorder (SAD) "is a mental health condition characterized by excessive fear and anxiety in social situations. Individuals with SAD worry about being judged, scrutinized, or embarrassed by others. This fear can significantly impact their daily lives, affecting their ability to form relationships, work, and participate in social activities.[1]
