Slavic tribes in the 7th to 9th centuries.

The Slavs are a group of people living mostly in Eastern Europe who all speak related Slavic languages. The Slavic peoples are the most numerous ethnicity in all of Europe. The English word "slave" is linguistically connected to the world Slav because Romans took many Slavs as slaves.[1]
