Tren De Aragua

The Tren de Aragua is a Venezuelan criminal mega-gang originating from the state of Aragua.[1] It started in Venezuela’s prisons, it has bases in the Tocorón prison and is led by pran Héctor "Niño" Guerrero.[2] The organization is a mega-gang (a criminal group with more than one hundred members),[3] according to InSight Crime, it is present in at least 6 Venezuelan states and in countries such as Brazil, Colombia,[4] Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, the United States and Mexico[5] with the growth of the gang following the migration of Venezuelans to host nations.[6] having a significant increase in its activities abroad since 2020.[7][1]
