The Executive Branch of the United States' government as enumerated in Article II of the United States Constitution consists of the President and those offices and agencies as delineated by law.[1]

The powers of the President include the following:

  • He is Commander in Chief of the United States military.
  • Veto power of acts of congress
  • Judicial appointments
  • pardon power
