The Ryder Cup is a biannual competition between 24 of the finest golfers in the United States and Europe, who compete in match play. Its founder in 1927 was Samuel Ryder.

The two teams are the United States versus Europe. As of June 2024, the U.S. has won 27 times, while Europe has won 14 times.[1]
