Deuterocanonical

deuterocanonical biblical books, literally "part of the second canon") are part of the Old Testament for the Roman Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and the Oriental Orthodox and Assyrian Churches, but treated by Jewish and most Protestant faiths as apocrypha.
These books were written for the most part between 200 BC to 70 AD, but some are slightly older.
They were part of the Septuagint, which the disciples of Jesus used.
