The American Revolution goes hand in hand with the war, so I do not see a need for two separate articles on the matter. Also, this article had a American Civil War chronology section to it.. I am wondering if someone has one for the Revolution and accidentally placed the wrong one in this article or if we need to build from scratch. --Colest 20:34, 9 June 2007 (EDT)

  • Sorry about that...I had made several time-lines for different wars on Microsoft Word, then copied them onto Conservapedia...I must have copied the wrong one and didn't notice. And yes, I do have one for the American Revolution....no need to start from scratch. DeborahB. 13:17, 11 June 2007 (EDT)
No problem, I'm glad you had it. I'd be interested in hearing your opinions on whether we should merge this article with American Revolutionary War. I ask this because, as it stands now, this article appears to be designed to discuss the social aspects of the revolution, and not the war, so if we keep them seperated the timeline would probably be better served in the War article. Also, as an idea for expansion, we might want to include some of the acts that triggered the revolution prior to Lexington/Concord, such as the series of legislative tarriffs the British Governement began enacting, etc.
I'm just trying to get some other people's opinions here, I don't want to unilaterally move/merge such large, important articles without trying to get some sort of consensus. --Colest 13:37, 11 June 2007 (EDT)
