Flaws of wind energy include:

  1. Wind blows least when energy is needed most: on very cold or very hot days.
  2. Up-front and maintenance costs are enormous for windmills.
  3. Windmills are very noisy, even causing headaches and other health problems to people.
  4. Deadly to wildlife, particularly birds including bald eagles.
  5. Windmills blight an otherwise beautiful landscape or ocean view.
