Old Earth Creationism is the belief that God created the universe and the world billions of years ago, as the majority of scientists agree. Old Earth Creationists hold to an exegesis of the Biblical book of Genesis that allows for an old earth [1].

Leading proponents of Old Earth Creationism include Hugh Ross, Greg Neyman, Francis Schaeffer, and Norman Geisler.
