The New Order: Last Days of Europe

The New Order: Last Days of Europe is a Hearts of Iron IV Game Mod that is set in an alternate timeline where Nazi Germany won the World War II, but quickly lost the peace. The New Order is a narrative-driven mod that focuses on the fallout of an Axis victory and virtues of conservatism, which is shown as the only power capable of stopping German and Japanese socialisms of national variety. The mod is known for being incredibly ambitious and run on conservative organisational principles. There are large amounts of events praising conservative political thought while showing the evils of liberalism and communism, well-devloped conservative paths around the globe, and heroic conservative characters like George Wallace, Strom Thurmond or Barry Goldwater, which is shown as being objectively the best President and ending for the United States in the game; its primary gameplay also deviates from the war and conquest-based gameplay of base game HOI4 in favor of political simulation through events and new mechanics, in the vein of Political Strategy Games like Crisis in the Kremlin (the original unbiased version). However, the left-liberals infesting the Hearts of Iron community often attack the modfication for it's supposed "rightist bias", with their outrage machine going as far as trying to portray the good, conservative people of The New Order: Last Days of Europe development team as racists.
