Sylvester Magee (1841? - October 1971) was an American Slave in the 19th century and claimed to be the oldest person ever (130 years old). This claim of old age is disputed but his grave lists his birth as being in 1841.

If the claim was true then Magee would be the oldest person ever, surpassing Jeanne Calment at the age of 122 years.
