Predator

A Predator is an animal that prays on other animals, which is basically the same thing as a carnivore. Animals that are not predators are called prey or herbivores. Some common predatory animals include bears, lions, and sharks.
The Bible teaches us (Job 40:15) that before their Expulsion from the Garden of Eden, all animals were herbivores, and there were no predators. This is born out by the fossil record.[1][2]
